Terry Barber, Jean Valjean
“Barber’s voice soars to extremes… Nearly all the cast’s songs exude passion, particularly Barber’s, many of them close to tearful as his voice approaches the higher ranges.” – Delray Newspaper. Though this is Barber’s third time at the Crest, he has been a soloist at the world’s best venues from Carnegie Hall to Moscow’s Svetlanov Hall, can be heard on recordings with a range of artists from Madonna to the London Philharmonic. His most recent recording was considered for 6 Grammy nominations.
Shelley Keelor as Fantine and Mme. Thenardier
A Carbonel-Nominated actress, Shelley Keelor brings a keen, clarity to her musical performances, in particular, the popular “I Dreamed a Dream” which she sings with authority… Keelor has been a soloist internationally, with the Istanbul orchestra and appeared in Beehive at the Wick Theatre in Boca Raton and Sweeney Todd at Palm Beach Dramaworks. Last year, she performed with Barber in his The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Crest.
Jonathan Cummings as Javert and Thenardier
Jonathan is the front man in his own band, and has worked with many entertainment greats, including Barry Manilow. He is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, drummer, producer of the highest caliber, who performs hundreds of gigs per year of jazz, musical theater, and popular music.
This production features a world-class chamber ensemble of players who have Grammy winning albums and have played on Broadway tours and for headline artists Tony Bennett, Bonnie Raitt, Sarah Brightman and more.
