Performing everywhere from Caroline’s Comedy Club to Carnegie Hall, Angela has played to rave reviews and sold-out shows in top clubs, theatrical venues and corporate settings–from Feinstein’s, the Algonquin, and Town Hall to venues in Atlantic City, Palm Beach, and Tahiti. Angela is the recipient of 6 MAC Awards (NYC’s ‘Oscar’ for live performance) and a Backstage Bistro Award. On television, Angela has appeared several times on The View (including Joy Behar’s ‘Comedy Corner’) as well as Law & Order, Nurse Jackie, Lifetime’s Girls Nite Out, the NBC mini-series A Woman Named Jackie, VH-1, Good Day New York, and Comedy Central. She has also recorded numerous voice-overs and promos for The View, HBO, and Nickelodeon, and has appeared in national and regional TV commercials. For eight years Angela opened for Joy Behar, playing numerous theaters, Atlantic City, and the Catskills. She has headlined at Carolines,The Firebird, Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, among others, and has entertained at countless private and corporate events.
Stand-up comedian Dick Capri got his start in the Catskills along with fellow comics Mal Z. Lawrence and Freddie Roman. Capri, known for making the talk show circuit rounds, is best remembered for the Friar Roast of Jerry Stiller in which he noted that Stiller’s hair was “the color of Tang.” He has opened for many musical performers like Engelbert Humperdinck, Liza Minnelli, Tom Jones Joan Rivers and Frank Sinatra.
